Seba Lecompte
Seba Lecompte is on the forefront of the techno scene since the early 90’s and is considered as one of the finest and hardest working Belgian artist.
Seba’s distinct dj-style with an impeccable technique and well balanced storytelling heated up all major Belgian dancefloors: Kompass Klub, Tomorrowland, I Love Techno, Kozzmozz, Ostend Beach, Café D'Anvers, 10 Days Off, Laundry Day, Silo, Lagoa and Cherry Moon to name a few. Seba’s passion and drive for techno led to residencies at Fuse club in Brussels (Belgium’s premier techno club) and club Decadance in Ghent where he was the longest running resident deejay (20 years!)
Next to Belgium Seba regulary spreads his vibe abroad. He played at Rex Club (Paris), Culture Box (Kopenhagen), Jaeger (Oslo), Paradiso and Sugar Factory (Amsterdam) and many more. He is also a welcome guest in Germany where he played at Tresor, Nature One, Griessmuehle, Sisyphos, Feel Festival, Salon Zur Wilden Renate, Suicide Circus and many more.
Besides deejaying Seba is also active as a producer. His first release came out in 2004 on the London based Eukatech records and got immediately support from industry key players like Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Marco Bailey and Steve Rachmad. Over the years Seba made a name for himself with EP’s on imprints such as Trapez, Advanced White, Riot Recordings, Reload Black, Recode Musik, Girafe Sauvage, Coincidence and many more.
Nowadays Seba’s main focus is on Segment Recordings, a new label he recently started with Soren Aalberg, another strongholder of the Belgian techno scene. The Segment family consists of artists like Petter B, Memorial Home, Ray Kajioka, Tom Hades, Staren and is constantly growing.
Together with Border One, Seba also created a new club night in 2019 at Amigo in Ghent Belgium. A no-nonse good night out with refined contemporary techno in a dark smoky basement club.
