Marie-Julie

Marie-Julie is a true vinyl aficionada. She started collecting vinyls at a young age, combining several student jobs to save and buy vinyls every week. In 2007 Marie-Julie spent a year in Berlin. She returned home with a bag full of those vinyls. Her style is heavily inspired by the numerous visits to Berghain and Hardwax that year. After playing at the legendary Fuse club in Brussels and De School in Amsterdam, she gained a spot in the Belgian underground techno scene. Together with other techno enthusiasts she forms the techno collective TRP, organizing several in- and outdoor parties in Ghent. She plays groovy and energetic techno, using only two vinyl decks and a mixer, blending oldskool sounds and modern grooves.
