Hugo Rolan

When techno is in your DNA you don't need additional translation to understand it.

This is the case of Hugo Rolan, a native of the north of Spain, more precisely Asturias, has been Asturias, has been exposed to techno and futuristic sounds since he was a teenager, and now in his maturity since his adolescence, and now in his maturity we can say that he masters the language to perfection. He has been primarily DJing for two decades, remaining under the radar in the local underground scene while working a conventional day job. In his spare time, he has been learning production skills, delving into music creation software and hardware, training hard and quietly until he felt it was time to go public with his work.

The wait has been worth it, and in 2022 his first work has been published onone of the most recognized ceiling labels of the moment, Warm Up Recordings, managed by Oscar Mulero, a very interesting debut album full of techno. The second reference of his discography is released on one of the most important labels worldwide, nothing more and nothing less than the Axis Records owned by Jeff Mills, a work that makes us get closer to his creativity and gives us an idea of where he is heading. Thanks to this start he has been able to publish on different labels, with works on Incense Records, Legend 1997 Records, Illegal Alien, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, SUB_tl, Prophet Recordings, Semantica Records, FautSection, Abstract Mechanisms and several VVAA on Fenómenos Records, West Rules, KeyHole Records, Voyager Recordings and Loopaina Records.

He is currently a resident of Lanna Club, where he can be found in the club's monthlymonthly program of this club. An example of a true techno lover living in the real world, loving the music carefully until the right moment puts him in the right place.
